I just got done speaking with Oxford Online and was very impressed to hear how insightful they were about looking at ways to change their content. I answered several questions they had about usability, importance, and content and our overall impression of their product. I incorporated the few comments I received via e-mail.
ReplyDeleteIn summary, several of our staff members liked Oxford Online for its simplicity, some wanted more information and others wanted a more competitive product up to par with the likes of Google and Wikipedia (as far as usability and attractive appeal are concerned).
I honestly expressed my frustration with databases in general because of their usual lack of usability, but I also gained a greater respect for Oxford.
I recommend others to give it another try, for the very first time! :D
